	PRAYING FOR DESCENDANTS
The seeds of the past and present hold within them the harvest of the future LLB
"Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments." Deuteronomy 7: 9
Because God is faithful and keeps covenant and mercy to those who love Him and keep His commandments, we can pray for God to bring all of our future descendants, even to a thousand generations as the Lord tarries, into His kingdom. As we pray our requests for the future generations that will follow, and leave the fulfilling of these requests to the Lord who is faithful, we will then have taken a step for blessing this earth and our families, our future descendants, down through history, even to a thousand generations. In Matthew 13: 33 Jesus told a parable, "...The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal till it was all leavened." As the Lord faithfully answers our prayers, bringing our families, our future descendants, into His kingdom, even to a thousand generations, can you imagine how many lives will be impacted for Jesus' kingdom? Just as the leaven was hidden in the three measures of meal till the meal was all leavened, our families, our future descendants, will spread out over the face of the whole earth, permeating, perhaps hidden and unseen at times, but always enlarging and penetrating into our world and culture for our God's glory as we continue in faith, praying for descendants.
